SOFTFACE AND FULLTILT FORM STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO LEVERAGE TECHNOLOGY IN PRODUCT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
Softface's Enterprise Content Suite™ Combines with FullTilt's I-Accel to Help Customers Achieve Cost Savings

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA & WALNUT CREEK, CA - FullTilt Solutions, Inc., a leader in solving complex data management and integration challenges, and Softface, Inc., The Procurement Intelligence Company, today announced that FullTilt has joined Softface's partner program as a catalog management and product information management partner. Leveraging Softface's technology for automatic product content creation, Fulltilt will offer customers an integrated solution of Softface's Enterprise Content Suite™ and Fulltilt's I-Accelä product information management software. The joint solution can immediately reduce costs associated with collaborative catalog creation and management by transforming unstructured and cryptic product data into precisely structured product content automatically.

"Our customers purchase I-Accel because they need a shared, central repository for product information - a necessity for online selling and buying and managing supply chains, inventory and product lifecycles," said Andy Fedun, vice president of I-Accel product sales for FullTilt. "The Softface partnership provides a solution for preparing and regularly refreshing structured, attributed product content to feed the catalog. Softface's technology removes the manual steps it used to take to read and re-write product data into useable online content, reducing data maintenance time and costs."

I-Accel is an enterprise-wide solution that supports not only online buying and selling, but also benefits CRM, supply chain management and inventory management. I-Accel is a shared repository of product information for extremely large volumes of products containing multiple attributes. It has the ability to import product information in virtually any format and export the information in virtually any format, including print catalog support. The sources are typically internal systems and external suppliers, neither of which house product information in a usable format for online transactions. The data quality ranges from cryptic, free form text to indecipherable groupings of abbreviations and product codes. Softface's Enterprise Content Suite delivers a high-speed, repeatable product content creation solution that transforms unstructured, free form text into precisely structured, attribute-rich product content automatically. Unlike the manually intensive approach, which requires an hour to re-write 30-40 items, Softface's patent-pending core technology is the first and only software that automatically, at a rate of tens of thousands of entries per hour, generates structured content with relevant attributes from plain-text descriptions with a high degree of precision.

"Fulltilt customers expect I-Accel to integrate throughout their organization and scale very quickly to support hundreds of thousands of SKUs. Aggregating and transforming such a large amount of unstructured product data into precisely structured content, as well as supporting the maintenance of that data, is a mammoth task. The Aberdeen Group has estimated that companies spend in excess of $200,000 just to create the product content for an average catalog of about 24,000 items. Softface automates this costly, manual step of implementing an online buying or selling solution," says Tim Braman, Director Corporate and Business Development at Softface.

Softface also announced that IBM, a leader in the creation, development and manufacture of the industry's most advanced information technologies, iXmatch, the leading provider of matching software, and Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ: ORCL), the largest provider of software for e-business, are now included among Softface's technology partners. Softface's solutions will be certified to leverage these company's complementary technologies.
