BDI Selects FullTilt Solutions' I-Accel Software to Manage More Than 500,000 Product SKUs
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA - FullTilt Solutions (www.fulltiltsolutions.com), a leader in software development and integration, today announced that BDI (www.bdi-usa.com), a leading global supplier and service provider to manufacturing companies, has selected FullTilt's I-Accel software to streamline company-wide procedures of managing product information. With more than 500,000 SKUs and operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China and Europe, BDI plans to implement the I-Accel solution globally to serve as a shared repository for all of its product data.
"BDI is an important customer win on the sell-side for FullTilt. Not only is it a global company, but it fits into our strategy to target suppliers within the manufacturing industry requiring a strong capability to present product information in an effective format for business," said Bob Moyer, president of FullTilt Solutions. "This partnership illustrates how I-Accel helps large distributors manage their data so they can distribute high-quality product information to their e-commerce customers."
Working with a customer's legacy systems, the browser-based Product Information Management software acts as a central repository for data offering manufacturers and distributors the ability to oversee and distribute the creation, management, and syndication of complex product information for print, Web, database and data interchange systems. In addition to the normalization, rationalization and automation of product information, I-Accel includes a proprietary Product Standardization Engine that ensures consistent control over product representation. By employing user-defined templates, I-Accel drives adaptive learning and rules-based processing which guarantees that similar products are defined consistently. I-Accel does not limit the amount or type of information that can be maintained -- from images and documents to product attributes and customer specific prices.
"After many months of research and competitive analysis, BDI determined that FullTilt's I-Accel software would provide an environment to manage product information within a global environment," said Lonny Lawrence, director of information services for BDI. "Once we made the decision to move forward with FullTilt, the installation and implementation process took only three days. The easy integration to our current systems will reduce development cost and shorten the deployment cycle."
