in Study by Independent Research Firm
Company's Perfect Product Suite Receives Highest Score of All Products Evaluated
WAYNE, PA - FullTilt Solutions, Inc., announced today that its Perfect Product Suite has earned the #1 ranking among 17 product information management (PIM) solutions evaluated by Forrester Research. FullTilt was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in its December 2004 Forrester Wave report, "Product Information Management Leaders Emerge." The report reflects the rising need for PIM solutions that synchronize a company's internal product data in order to eliminate errors, duplicates and discrepancies that hamper electronic commerce. Demand for PIM technology is being driven by global data synchronization mandates by major retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target, radio frequency identification (RFID) initiatives that require reliable product data, and the high cost of inaccurate orders, erroneous invoices and stockouts caused by imperfect product information.
In the Forrester report, FullTilt's Perfect Product Suite achieved the highest overall score among current PIM offerings based on its core functionality, underlying technology and pricing structure, with the authors noting that FullTilt's application "is strong in almost all core PIM functionality areas." Forrester lauded FullTilt as "a model for ease of use" and also identified FullTilt's PIM technology as being oriented toward the emerging enterprise data management space. Evaluation criteria ranged from data extraction, unstructured content, data synchronization, scalability and output capabilities to pricing and promotion management, search functionality, and PIM standards support.
The report specifically cited Perfect Product Suite for its flexibility, robust mix of customizable features and out-of-box, industry-specific workflows and taxonomies, and usefulness for purposes from generating catalogs to meeting global data synchronization requirements. It also commended the FullTilt application for its scalability and the fact that it is "specifically designed for highly automated data aggregation and its adeptness at cleansing, categorizing and normalizing data with its patented technology to automate data transformation."
