FullTilt Customers Report 100% Satisfaction with Product Information Management (PIM) Implementations

WAYNE, PA - FullTilt Solutions, Inc., today announced the results of its 2005 Customer Survey showing 100% satisfaction among companies that have implemented FullTilt's Perfect Product Suite product information management (PIM) system. Customers also reported that the top two reasons for deploying Perfect Product Suite were the need to create a single item master across all applications and improve customer service.

100% of customers say that FullTilt meets or exceeds their PIM needs
100% had a positive experience during their FullTilt implementation
100% would recommend FullTilt to others
100% say that executives recognize the strategic benefits of PIM
85% expect FullTilt's software to grow in importance in their organization
 
 

Over 70% of respondents indicated that they have integrated FullTilt's PIM solution with their internal databases in order to synchronize product information from disparate data stores across their organizations. Customers have also integrated FullTilt software with their e-commerce websites (41%), ERP systems (35%), EDI systems 20%), PLM systems (15%), and CRM, Supply Chain and Trade Promotion Management Systems (all 8%).

While some respondents reported that their PIM investments were partially driven by external pressures such as UCCnet/EPCglobal initiatives, the primary motivations were internal. Factors contributing to PIM adoption included a need to:

Create a single version of product truth across the organization (58%)
Reduce costs and streamline production of print and web catalogs (50%)
Provide customer-specific catalogs (50%)
Clean up bad data exposed by customer mandates (41%)
Comply with UCCnet/EPCglobal standards (20%)
Become industry's authoritative source on product information (20%)
 
 
Other drivers included a desire to reduce time to market for new products (14%), expand web initiatives (14%), reduce costs across the enterprise (8%), and improve trade promotion management capabilities (8%).

Respondents included IT, logistics, marketing and e-commerce managers in the consumer packaged goods, food processing, MRO/industrial supplies, healthcare and life sciences, industrial manufacturing, and distribution sectors. The companies involved have yearly revenues ranging from $250 million to $20 billion, with the majority grossing $1-5 billion annually.
